Lancaster County voters who have moved or need to update their voter registration have until Friday, October 16, to make changes online or submit an application by mail or drop box.
“If you want to mail us your application or drop it in the drop box, or if you want to make any updates online on the Secretary of State’s website or any other state agency, that deadline is at midnight on this Friday, October 16th,” says Election Commissioner Todd Wiltgen says.
Voters who miss that deadline can still update their registration next week, but they must do so in person at the Lancaster County Election Office. They can also vote while there. That option ends at 6 p.m. Friday, October 23. That is also the deadline to request an early voting ballot by mail.
After October 23, voters who want an early ballot must pick one up in person at the election office. Early in-person voting is underway at the election office and continues through Monday, November 2, the day before Election Day.
Election Day is November 3 and voters who want to cast their ballots in person must go to their assigned polling places.
