A man is arrested after driving through two garages while under the influence.
Officer Luke Bonkiewicz says police were called to the 3300 blocks of Apple St. around 11 pm Thursday after getting reports of a vehicle that collided with a detached garage in the area.
Officers found that a 2002 Cadillac Deville had actually gone completely through a detached garage before colliding with a neighboring garage.
“Our officers located numerous bottles of alcohol inside the vehicle, some of which were empty, some of which were full,” said Bonkiewicz.
Witnesses told police 34-year-old Ronnie Sabin fled from the Cadillac after the collision.
Sabin was located walking nearby and he was arrested after an investigation which discovered he had a BAC of .138
A 42-year-old female passenger who had also fled from the vehicle was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
