Lincoln Fire and Rescue are investigating a fire at a southeast Lincoln home that caused around $75,000 in damage.
LFR Spokeswoman Nancy Krist says crews were called to the 5500 block of Oldham Road just before 8 am Friday after receiving reports of a single-story residence on fire.
Crews discover the fire confined to the basement and extinguished it within minutes.
Two people and two dogs evacuated before LFR arrived.
One person still had to be transported to the hospital, but their injuries are described as non-life-threatening.
Investigators estimate $25,000 in damage was done to personal property while around $50,000 was estimated in structural damage.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
