A man is arrested after striking an officer
Lincoln Police Officer Erin Spilker says officers were sent to the Casey’s General Store at 900 S St. just after 1 pm Wednesday after an employee reported a man seen asking for money in the parking lot refused to leave the premises when asked.
“When the officers arrived the man was still there and yelling in the employee’s face,” said Spilker
The man refused officers’ commands to leave the property and when they attempted to arrest him for trespassing, he got aggressive.
“The male continued to resist arrest and struck the officer several times in the shoulder and arm area,” said Spilker.
Eventually, 55-year-old Robert Hahn was taken to the ground and arrested for 3rd-degree assault on an officer.
