The nine Lincoln Swimming pools won’t open on Memorial Day as scheduled do to COVID-19.
Officials they’re waiting for more detailed guidelines from the CDC to safely reopen the pools.
Swim and dive meets and leagues have been cancelled. Various park shelters will be closed. Some restrooms will open and day camps will return at the end of the month.

Despite lower sales-tax revenue this year, the Lincoln On The Move Program will not see significant changes.
Lincoln Transportation and Utilities Director Liz Elliot said higher income from the fall allows them to plan ahead.
She says the program will remain strong.
The funds will be invested in three areas:
- 73.5% will be invested in streets
- 25 percent will be invested into streets with new city growth
- 1.5% the rest to the railroad and safety district
