You know what, 2022 wasn’t as bad as 2020 or 2021 (Remember Tiger King? Toilet Paper Shortages?).

After making this list, we can officially say that things are (relatively) looking up…right?

Take a look at some of the moments we’ll be telling our kids about one day:

The Queen Died.

It was simultaneously one of the most reverent and mocked events I’ve ever witnessed. Half of the world was mourning, while the other half was celebrating. Fun stuff.

Corn Kid.

Corn Kid (Tariq) gets the automatic add because we weren’t expecting ANYONE to love Corn this much; but just goes to show – people wanted positivity this year. Randomly loving corn? How much more positive could you get? Also GBR lil dude.

Will Smith Slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars

I remember watching this moment live, and wondering to myself if it was a skit. I mean, they’re both funny. Why not? Months later, Will Smith is STILL Apologizing to everyone and their mom for slapping Chris Rock in defense of his wife. Lesson: Don’t make jokes about people’s disabilities….and don’t hit people in public….or at all. 🙄

Usher’s “Watch This”.

In celebration of Black Music Month, NPR Invited Usher to perform what many consider the best TinyDesk EVER.

If you haven’t seen the memes from it, see if you can guess which moment took the internet by storm 😉
