A man is arrested after threatening to burn down his home and kill his significant other and her two daughters.

Officer Erin Spilker says police were sent to a home in the 2400 block of North 63rd Street just after 10 p.m Monday on reports of a domestic dispute.

On route, the officers were notified that the male half of the dispute commented on having guns.

“The male also had a gas can and a lighter and was threatening to light the house on fire and kill everyone,” said Spilker.

When officers arrived they observed a man later identified as 54-year-old Michael Glade enter the home with a gas canister and lighter.

After making sure that the female-half of the dispute victim and her two 11-year-old twins were safe, officers returned to the home to confront Glade.

“He charged at the officers,” said Spilker. “An officer deployed a taser and was able to take the male into custody without further incident.”

Glade was arrested for three counts of making terroristic threats.

No one was injured.
