LPD: Man Arrested After Pulling Gun, Threatening To Kill Two Women

A Lincoln man is arrested after pulling a gun on two people.

Officer Erin Spilker says on May 11th, just before midnight, police received a call from a woman who reported that while helping 19-year-old Lin Berry move out of an apartment in the 6100 block of South 34th St., an unknown vehicle approached and its occupants stole several of Berry’s items out of the vehicle the pair were loading.

Berry grew enraged, put a gun to the victim’s head, accused her of setting him up, and forced her to drive to the home of a family member where she reported being assaulted by multiple people.

Responding officers reported the victim had sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Then, on May 31st at around 8 p.m., a family member of Barry’s called police to report  Barry had jumped on the hood of her car, pointed a gun at her and threatened her life.

Thursday, June 11th, Berry was located by officers and taken into custody without incident.

A search of his person’s uncovered, among other things, 132 grams of marijuana in separate baggies, $3,000 in suspected drug money, and a scale.

Berry was arrested for two counts of Terroristic Threats, Use of a Deadly Weapon to Commit a Felony, Possession of Money while Violating a Drug Law, and Possession with intent to deliver.

An investigation to identify the other assault suspects is ongoing.

Another investigation into Berry’s stolen items is also ongoing.
